Blog Allignment Issues
For very long, my blog had an issue with its alignment. It was chaotic evil instead of lawful good.
Obscure DND reference FTW
Anyway i played around with the source and somehow solved it. Go me.
Filed under Muse | Comments OffI found my user name!

For a really long~ time, I forgot my log in name for my blog.
In fact I shall blame my non-activity since err.. 2009? on this.
Today Lizah gave me a valuable clue: I could look at the past entries in my old Fujitsu. And lo behold my log in name was there.

New Deck Idea - Bant Rites
Kim wanted to make a deck using Rites, I told him it was dumb, but it may just~~ be possible to make a regular UG deck and just build towards the inevitable Rites.
After tweaking the idea further, i thought that adding W gives the deck more options and solutions (and bant charm!). And it also reaps the benefits from Harrow.
Btw, Harrow + Bant Charm + Negates make this deck operate very much like a psuedo control deck. Cool =)

Lol, but true
This is so lol-true that i just had to copy it down
In the process of building my collection I learned all sorts of interesting things about old Magic cards, the sort of stuff that you readers have been absorbing one Card of the Day blurb at a time. This encyclopedic knowledge of missing Cyclopean Tomb mana costs, Orcish Artillery misprints and absent Plateau artwork drastically increased my popularity with the opposite sex.

New Deck Idea - Kor
Kim wanted me to try making a Kor Deck, so this is my attempt:
I can’t claim credit for the Behemoth Sledge idea (it was Kim’s).
The life link coupled with the whispersilk cloak makes for some pretty safe plays. Solving Kor’s issue of not being aggro enough early game and not having enough reach end game.
22 Creatures
4 kor duelist
4 armanent master

MTG Rules
You know how nerdy a game MTG can be when the rules has, like, more than 702 paragraphs (with sub paragraphs even)
702.14c A permanent or player with protection can’t be enchanted by Auras that have the stated quality. Such Auras attached to the permanent or player with protection will be put into their owners’ graveyards as a state-based action. (See rule 704, “State-Based Actions.” )
702.14d A permanent with protection can’t be equipped by Equipment that have the stated quality or fortified by Fortifications that have the stated quality. Such Equipment or Fortifications become unattached from that permanent as a state-based action, but remain on the battlefield. (See rule 704, “State-Based Actions.” )
Well, this particular play has been stumping me for a while, so i’m glad there’s a clause in the comprehensive rules

Though this also means my favourite cards, Ice Cage and Crystallisation, just became worthless cards. Sheesh.
